After deep thought and analysis of the two shops i’ve come to the conclusion that Yogurtland rules supreme. Not only does Yogurtland have superior selection in yogurt flavors/toppings, it is the most bang for buck. In this economy we need as much value as we can get. Let’s review the pros and cons of each.
Yogurtland
Pros: Self Service, Prorated costs(charged by actual weight of yogurt/toppings), Never ending supply of flavors.
Cons: Lacks in cool factor, doesn’t sell “cool” kitchen accessories. Some people don’t like self serve.
Pinkberry
Pros: Healthier (less sugar in yogurt), The original frozen natural yogurt franchise (disregarding TCBY because of ginormous amounts of sugar in yogurt), Very high in cool factor. Modern appearance of stores.
Cons: Expensive, sometimes feel like a douchebag when eating there. Can be overwhelming with all the new age gadgets and housewares they sell.
Decision time: After weighing every thing out, Yogurtland has come out the winning competitor. Times are tough and what i need is yogurt and not all that fu-funess that Pinkberry offers. Don’t get me wrong i love Pinkberry, but in a shitty economy i will sacrifice Little Birdies salt and pepper shakers, or penguin shaped egg timers for good yogurt and value. Yogurtland FTW!
